A grumpy old man, Alan, lives alone on a small hill in a small wooden house, is always irritated by this small bird that always chirps by his window. The bird enjoys the company of the old man, but the old man doesn’t want to have the bird’s company. His attempts of getting rid of the bird escalates in terms of viciousness, to the extend that he tried to kill the bird. But the bird did not fall prey into any of this traps.
One morning, the old man had a heart attack and he couldn’t reach for his medication on his table because he was struggling on the floor. The bird came by, and saw what happened. It immediately flew in, and took the medication to the old man. The old man takes medicine in time for the situation to calm down. Feeling grateful and guilty, he keeps bird as pet, and from then on they both have each other for companionship.
This animation short film will be a 3D animation, with a duration of about 2 minutes 30 seconds.
This project is very much purpose driven, because, my passion is in modeling and animating. With this story, i am able to showcase both of those skills to my future employees, friends, families and other viewers. Ultimately, i would want them to admire my production values and understand the moral of the story.
